About our Pastors

Pastor Michael Wadhams

Born and raised in Capetown, South Africa, Michael always had a desire to minister in the mission field. The Lord impressed upon his heart that the mission field would be a foreign place amongst Native American Indians, and this lead to the dream becoming a reality, when in 1997 Michael arrived in the States to speak at various venues and to acquaint himself with ministries to Natives. This led to the Wadhams family leaving their home and settling in the States where he completed his Bachelor’s in Biblical studies and his Master’s in Theology. Having ministered on the Cherokee Reservation he received a call to Charlotte where he has overseen the ministries of teaching and preaching to our congregation at Living Faith Baptist church.

Pastor Steve McClung

Born in central Montana, Steve was raised in a strong Christian home.  It was in this setting that the Lord pressed the Gospel strongly upon his heart.  Although he was brought to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ at an early age, the call to full time ministry did not come until after he was married.  After attending Southeastern Baptist Theological College, Steve spent the next six years serving as pastor in both eastern and western Montana.  Having received a call to Living Faith Baptist Church, Steve, his wife Suni and their four children have recently moved to Charlotte, NC where he oversees our education and pre-school ministries.
